What organizations are collecting the information?

We never share your details outside of our company. We never buy or sell data, meaning the details you log with us are safeguarded within our internal database, for our own use. You are welcome to unsubscribe from emails at any time and we will only ever contact you about information we deem relevant.

With whom may the information may be shared?

Personally Identifiable Information about Authorized Customers is not shared with other Authorized Customers. If you are letting or buying a property through it is a legal requirement for us to ask for personal identification of the individual (you) to assist with your transaction. This will only be shared with relevant companies who need a copy of this information as a legal requirement also.

How is Personally Identifiable Information stored?

Personally Identifiable Information collected by the Site is securely stored and is not accessible to third parties. Only employees of the company who are dealing with your transaction will access your data.

What choices are available to Visitors regarding collection, use and distribution of the information?

Visitors and Authorized Customers may opt out of receiving information from us by responding to emails as instructed, or by contacting us at [email protected]

How does the Site keep Personally Identifiable Information secure?

All of our employees are familiar with our security policy and practices. We audit our security systems and processes on a regular basis. Sensitive information, such as personal identification which is a legal requirement for your transaction, will be held on file for 7 years (archived) then professionally destroyed. We take commercially reasonable measures to maintain a secure site, electronic communications and databases are subject to errors, tampering and break-ins. We cannot guarantee or warrant that such events will not take place and we will not be liable to Visitors or Authorized Customers for any such occurrences.

How can Visitors correct any inaccuracies in Personally Identifiable Information?

Visitors and Authorized Customers may contact us to update Personally Identifiable Information about them or to correct any inaccuracies by emailing us at [email protected]

Can a Visitor delete or deactivate Personally Identifiable Information collected by the Site?

We provide Visitors and Authorized Customers with a mechanism to delete/deactivate Personally Identifiable Information from the Site’s database by contacting [email protected] or by unsubscribing from communication emails. An individual who requests to have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and we will not sell, transfer, or use Personally Identifiable Information relating to that individual in any way moving forward.

Emarketing Communications

In light of the May 2018 new data laws, staff are briefed to check with all individuals in the first instance that they accept communications from us as a company. This is outlined as emails, newsletters, post and SMS correspondence. This is to assist with the individuals expectations of what they will receive from us. We  also offer the opportunity to “opt out” of receiving information or being contacted by us.

We are members of the Property Ombudsman for Sales and Lettings and all deposits are registered with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) for both landlord and tenant security and peace of mind. We are not currently members of the Client Money Protection Insurance.
